The Inter-House Chess Tournament was held on Friday, 30th September, 2022 at the Khajurina Auditorium.
It was a great success. 32 players from all four houses played in two categories namely Division 1 and Division 2 based on the Chess Players ratings.

1st Abdullah Khurram 10-D Soparivala House
2nd Saad Ahmed 10-B Lancelot House
3rd Shaheer Khan 7-E Soparivala House

1st Aarib Rehman 10-D Lancelot House
2nd Mohit Kumar 8-B Quaid-I-Azam House
3rd Syed Muhamamd Omer 7-C RezaShah House.
House Points
Lancelot House 1st with 17 Points
(Won the BVS Chess Tournament Shield)
Soparivala House 2nd with 15 points
Quaidi Azam House 3rd with 7 points
RezaShah House 4th with 5 points
The matches were very tensed and the positions were decided on tie breakers.
Abdullah Khurram of 10-D was the player of the Tournament.
The Principal, Mrs. Mehernaz Bharucha distributed the shields and certificates in the morning Assembly of Monday 3rd October, 2022.

All three boys are of 2021 batch who took out their time and officiated the tournament. Shahmir is a Chess Grand Master Now and Hadi and Abdullah were successful Chess players during their School Life in BVS.
The selection of the teams was done on trials bases which were conducted on Monday 5th September, 2022.
All in all a great learning Day for the boys.
