A group of 21 students Grade 10-A Commerce from BVS Parsi High School with one facilitator Mr. Aazar Fredrick Wilson visited Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) on Thursday, 29th September2022.
They reached the venue at 11:00am where the visitors were given a good 40 minutes briefing about the visit.
At SIUT, Ms. Sanober Ambreen and Mr. Liaquat Ali served as a guide and facilitator for them.
The visitors were divided into two groups equally and paid visit to
1. Dialysis Center (700 Dialysis conducted together under one roof really shook the boys).
2. Oncology Ward
3. Organ Transplant Ward
4. Pediatric ward.
5. An overview of the Deewan Farooq Medical Centre and Hanifa Suleman Oncology center.
The students also actively participated in the discussion session. They met the patients and sang with them too.
The students became emotional when they witnessed how people are suffering. They were thanking the Almighty for making them healthy and fine.
They also realized the importance of life.
The main aim of the trip was fulfilled Today.
The students have hopefully got a great lesson that day.
Hopefully we will have some more great Volunteers who will represent our Dear School.
It was a proud feeling to represent BVS there. SIUT has great respect for the BVS Family. They know and realize the discipline maintained here and the values inculcated in the boys.
Overall a great learning day for the students.
