SOCIAL SPIRIT
VISIT TO DARUL SUKUN
The students of Grades 10 (A,B,C) and 11-D & E visited Darul Sukun-an institution which looks after the special people. Around 114 students and 5 teachers were part of the noble cause of the social spirit. following are the details of the visits.

The students were welcomed by Ms. Raabia, who is the event coordinator along with Dr. Cinderella who is a Psychiatrist and served as the facilitator throughout the three days. There was a general visit of Darul Sukun in which the students were shown the different wards and play area where people with special needs are kept. There are separate rooms for boys and girls and every day, they have a general assembly in which poems are revised to the special children and activities are conducted.
The Virbaijeeites had brought packets and biscuits along with themselves. The idea was that each student would have a packet of juice and a biscuit with every special child. The students distributed the things with the special kids which they had brought with themselves. Most of them even preferred giving their own share of juices and biscuits to those children. Our boys took part in the activities such as colouring, teaching etc. Some of them also danced with the kids to make them happy.
The staff at Darul Sukun was very cooperative and their services are commendable. The students and the teachers had a great time at Darul Sukun. Every day, the visiting classes used to depart with tears in their eyes. But they felt thankful for whatever they have in their lives.
