There was an International Virtual Scrabble Tournament on 11th May 2023 in which 8 countries participated on-line on woogles.io.
Aehzam Ahmed Siddiqui of 7-E became the Champion 🏆 of the tournament by winning all his matches.
A great news for Pakistan 🇵🇰 and for us as Virbaijeeites.
The other notable players who represented Pakistan were Mujtaba Naseem of 10-A who stood 20th. Zayan Zaman Khan of 6-D and Aun Murtaza of 10-D who were splendid as well.
Team Pakistan featured 5 players and 4 of them were Virbaijeeites.
The other international teams which participated today were: India, SriLanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal, Hong Kong and Phillipines.
We wait for appreciation certificates which will be given to our players by the Scrabble Federation.
BVS players have drawn first blood towards the World Cup Scrabble Preparations which will be held later this year.
