THURSDAY 30TH OCTOBER, 2025
The Primary English Elocution Competition (2025 – 2026) was held on Thursday 30th October, 2025. The Event aimed to enhance students’ confidence, clarity of speech and expression in public speaking.
Students were segmented into three groups and each participant participated with great enthusiasm showcasing his speaking skills, creativity and stage presence. Group ‘A’ comprised of Grades 1 and 2. Group B comprised of Grades 3 and 4, Group C comprised of Grade 5 students who competed for the Navroji Ratanji Wadia Primary English Elocution Shield.
The participants of Group A & B used interesting props to make their performance lively and engaging. Each child spoke confidently on topics such as kindness, dreams, family, school, pets, environment etc. leaving the audience and judges both impressed and inspired.
Group C participants wrote their own creative poems using ideas and inspiration from the internet.
BVS is grateful to Miss Eugene Pereira from Our Lady of Fatima School and Miss Rabia Asif from the Mama Parsi Girls’ Secondary School for having spared their valuable time by coming to appraise our competition.
