Celebrating the Auspicious occasion of our Country’s 75th Independence Day, a Chess Tournament was organized by Mindsports Association of Pakistan on 14th August 2022. The Tournament’s name was Anatoly Karpov Chess Tournament.
BVS Chess Players showed their class and won major awards at the event.
Maadhav Kumar of Grade 6-B became the Champion 🏆 of U14 Age Category.
Mohit Kumar of Grade 8-B stood 4th In the same category.
Saad Ahmed of Grade 10-B stole the show and became the Champion 🏆 of U18 Age Category.
The winners received Rs. 1000/- Cash as well as
Certificates which were given out by the Dignitary, Mr. Ruslan M. Prokhorov, Director of
The Russian Centre of Science & Culture.
It was a memorable Day for the Chess Players and a great gift on Independence Day.
