The evening commenced with the school band welcoming the chief guest Mr. Khalid Mahmood Bhaimia of The Bhaimia Foundation and the school scouts, giving him a guard of honor.
Mr. Feroze Cawasji, Honorary Treasurer of the Managing Committee read out Mr. Bhaimia’s credentials and congratulated the Principal, parents and all staff members on the excellent results of the students both from CAIE and AKUEB examinations.
Mrs. Kermin Parakh, the Principal shared with the guests the academic results of the year 2019 and also the other achievements of the academic session 2018-2019.She advised the graduation class of 2019 to develop virtues that will be honored by people and then she also instructed them to appreciate the love of them parents and to love them back. In the end she appealed to the parents and guests to be a part of FRIDAYS FOR FUTURE movement and be a part of the campaign to save our planet.
Mr. Khalid Mahmood Bhaimia gave away prizes, medals, shields, trophies and scholarship to students, staff, band members, scouts and the caretakers for all their commitment and dedication.
The teacher of the year award was presented to Mrs. Uroosa Manzar.
Mr. Bhaimia thanked the school for inviting him and stated that he was also a proud Virbaijeeite who graduated in 1963.
The past head boy Syed Wasi Mohsin Naqvi gave an emotional speech where he thanked the school and his parents.
After the school song and the Parsi Anthem, the guests were escorted towards the Assembly Hall for tea.
