2nd Shangrilla Scrabble Championship

FOR CHRONICLE RECORD OF AUGUST – SEPTEMBER, 2019

                                             

Venue: Beach Luxury Hotel 

 

The 2^nd Shangrilla Scrabble Championship was held at the Beach Luxury Hotel from 23^rd-25^th August, 2019. Top players of Pakistan participated in it. It was for the Premier and Masters Category players (National ratings 1000 points and above).

        

BVS ACHIEVEMENTS:

1.      Syed Imaad Ali of Grade 9-D stood 4^th Nationwide. He won 14 ½ matches out of 24 matches. He received a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- He was the youngest player among the top 10 players of the Championship.

2.      Monis Hussain Khan of Grade 7-E also came in top 20.    

3.      Altogether, five Virbaijitees secured positons in the top 20 of the Championship.
