Dear Parents & Guardians,
With the blessings of the Almighty, the second term of the academic year 2025 – 2026 ended gloriously. The school did its very best to complete its set of goals in academics, sports and co-curricular activities. Herewith sharing with you the achievements of the second term.
From December 29th to January 3rd a few students participated in the Volunteering Program of the Karachi Institute of Kidney Diseases. During the program, students interacted with patients and the medical staff learnt about kidney care, empathy, teamwork, and the importance of serving humanity.
On the 2nd and 3rd of January our students participated in the Scrabble and Chess tournament held by the Karachi Grammar School College section. Hamza Bin Hammad of 7-D became the Champion of the Junior Category of Scrabble. Mohammad Ayan Khan Lodhi of 7- E was declared the most emerging player of the Junior Category. Azaan Chipa of 9-D was declared as the most emerging player of the Senior Category. Mohammad Ahmed Jamali of 8-E became the Champion of the Juniors Category for chess.
The Secondary English Elocution Competition was held on January 27, 2026. The event was divided into three categories, from Group D classes 6 & 7. Syed Zarar Shah of 7-E stood first, Tuarab Haider of 6-D stood 2nd and Syed Ali Abbas of 6-E stood third. In Group E classes 8th and 9th Muhammad Ehzam of 9-D stood first Muhammad Arshman Vohra of 10-C and Abdul Bari of 10-C stood second and Arham Khan of 8-D stood 3rd. In group F category Irteza Naseem of 10–E stood 1st and took the Nergesh and Munchershaw Vakharia Secondary English Elocution Shield. The second position was taken by Daniyal Adnan of 10-D and the third position by Devansh Lal of 10-E.
From January 30th to February 1st Our students participated in the AKESP MUN. Musab Shafiq of grade 10-B was awarded the Best Delegate Award. Muhammad Faris of 10-A, Gaurav Om Parkash of 11-D, Muhammad Qaim Abbas of 11-E, Abdullah Imran of 11-E. Arshmaan Shah of 10 -E, Zaheeb Azeem of 10-E received the outstanding diplomacy award and a shield each. Muhammad Ahmed Allana of 10-E and Muhammad Mujtaba of 9-D received the Honorary mention titles. Maaz Bin Irfan of 7-D, Abdul Rafay of 8-B and Luksh Kumar of 9-D received special mention titles. Due to the efforts of the BVS Delegates, BVS won the best delegation Award.
From January 31st to February 1st the 26th Gladiators Inter – School Scrabble Championship was held at BVS Parsi High School. Around 1200 players participated in it making it the biggest Mind Sports Tournament. BVS was represented by 180 players on both the days. Malik Salaar Bin Saad of grade 3-B became the Champion of Category B, Abdul Wasay Narinja of grade 7-E became the champion of category E Aehzam Ahmed Siddiqui of grade 10-D became the champion of the Prestigious International Youth Masters category. Jazim Hussain Khan of 2-A stood 2nd in category B. Muhammad Hamdan of grade 2-B stood 3rd in category A and Khizer Hussain Khan of grade 3-B stood 3rd in category B.
Vijay Naisani of grade 6 – D stood 3rd in category D 15, Muhammad Nafay Mansoor of grade 9-E stood 3rd in Category F. On the 24th of January the Cedar College held a chess tournament in which Daniyal Jawad of grade 11-E stood 1st.
On the 3rd of February, the Grand School Stem Competition was held by Hira Foundation School for students who excelled in exceptional problem-solving skills of mathematics. The winning team comprised of Azlan Asad of 6-D, Jayant Maheswari of 7-D and Abdullah of 8-A, they demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills and mathematical excellence. The runner up team of Syed Turab Ali of 9-D, Muhammad Hasnain of 10-D and Aayan Kamran Khatri of 11-D showcased remarkable analytical thinking teamwork.
From the 5th to the 8th of February the 4th National Chess Championship was held at the CMA Community Centre. Daniyal Jawad of 11-E and Muhammad Aazim Salman of 11- E secured top position in the U-18 Category. Shaheer Khan secured top position in the U-16 Category. Abdullah Alam of 8-E and Muhammad Ahmed Jamali of 8-E secured positions in the top 10 players in the under 14 category.
The Primary Section of the School proudly presented the much-awaited musical performance, “The Wizard of Oz” a delightful performance filled with colour, energy and imagination on the 13th and 15th of February. This concert demonstrated the values the students of BVS carry with them, the power of kindness, the importance of friendship and the belief that each of them already holds, the courage, the wisdom and the heart they seek needed so much more in today’s fractured world. In the wise words of the Wizard ‘A heart is not judged by how much you love but by how much you are loved by others.
The BVS Social Spirit Society proudly continued its tradition of service by organizing a combined Iftar Drive on the 27th of February bringing together both initiatives, serving the community and hosting a special Iftar for the school caretakers within the school premises. Teachers and volunteers worked together to make the event successful. This Iftar drive reinforced the values of empathy, kindness and service during the blessed month of Ramdan making it a meaningful occasion.
BVS boys participated in the Inter School Maths Masters 2026 organized by the reflection School on April 02, 2026. Abdullah from grade 8-A and Hashir from grade 8-E secured Second Position and were awarded a shield.
The FSP Creative Writing Contest was held in which three of our boys Muhammad Mahad Ahmed of 6-B Abdullah of 8-A and Muhammad Khubaib of 10-D earned the distinction of being the National Toppers.
On the 10th of April an Urdu Declamation Contest was held at Habib Public School where Farhan Mutalib of 5-B stood first among twenty notable schools of Karachi.
The Grade 1 students participated in an engaging story telling session focused on love for nature to bring to life, students took on the role of flowers and bees, acting out the narrative to understand its structure through this hands-on activity, our young learners gained a deeper appreciation for the environment and the value of hard work.
To celebrate the unconditional love and care of mothers who make our lives brighter every day, Grades 1/2/3 students made handmade gifts for their mums to express their love and gratitude, under the guidance of the Art teachers.

To promote cleanliness, responsibility and teamwork among students, Grades 1/2/3 cleaned and organized their classrooms. They scrubbed their classroom tables and chairs while teachers guided them and explained the importance of cleanliness and maintaining hygienic surrounding.
To encourage the students of Grades 1/2/3 to develop healthy eating habits and understand the importance of nutritious food choices, the students were asked to bring a variety of healthy snacks such as fruits, veggies, sandwiches, home-made treats and nutritious drinks.
Welcome Summer Day was celebrated with great excitement and enthusiasm where students of Grades 1/2/3 wore summer attire and were engaged in various summer activities and refreshing summer treats. The day was filled with laughter, happiness and positive energy. Regular classroom activities were organized to create an enjoyable and interactive learning environment for the students. Students were engaged in a variety of activities such as group discussions, educational games etc. These activities encourage teamwork, communication confidence and creative thinking.
Hoping to meet new challenges in the new academic year (2026 – 2027) and facing them with tenacity and zest. By the blessings Almighty BVS will surely rise to the occasion.
