This year BVS Sent two volunteer groups to the NICH Student volunteer program.
The First group was sent from 23rd to 28th June and the participating students were:
1. Syed Turab Ali,
2. Abdul Raffay,
3. Abdullah Haris,
4. Devansh Lal,
5. Ebadullah Arshad,
6. Aroon Kumar,
7. Shams ul Haq, and
8. Ahmed Ayub.
The Second Group was sent from 21st to 26th July and the participating students were:
1. Muhammad Ibrahim,
2. Daniyal Adnan,
3. Muhammad Ahmed Allana,
4. Maarij Hasan Hashmi,
5. Shaheer Khan,
6. Ali Kazim, and
7. Mohammad Mohid Abbasi.
These Students spent six days viewing wards such as Pulmonology and oncology and saw departments like ICU’s and Surgical sectors. There the students learned the hardships of patients and the hospital staff in handling such a large and underfunded hospital.
They received lectures on Medicinal Ethics, Nursing, Patient Assessment, Asthma, Surgical Diseases, Nephrology, Malnutrition, Growth, First Aid, Diabetes and Bacterial and infectious transmission.
The closing ceremony took place on 28th June, 2025 and 26th July and started with prayers and this was followed by student reflections, where Devansh Lal of previous 9-E and Muhammad Ahmed (previous Grade 9-E) shared their personal experiences of volunteering at NICH (Batches 1 and 2). This was followed by Dr. Uzair Ahmed Siddiqui sharing his insights.
The students were then awarded certificates of participation upon successful completion of their volunteering hours. The organizers commended the dedication and efforts of the BVS volunteers.

Overall, it was a memorable and enriching experience for the BVS students at NICH.
