Innovative Learning – AKU-EB's Middle School Programme

The Aga Khan University Examination Board's Middle School Programme (MSP) is a unique project-based experiential form of learning for students of Grades 6, 7 and 8. It focuses on developing essential 21st century skills through the application of knowledge in real world situations, and places an emphasis on creativity, innovation, research skills, problem solving and critical thinking. The programme also serves as a strong foundation for further conceptual-based studies, such as AKU-EB's Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary School Certificate Programmes. In our first video about the MSP, we explored the minutiae of the programme through the curious eyes of a young student. In this followup, we have cast our net wider and also asked teachers and other leaders in education to share some of their thoughts about the MSP. This video also marks the second in the #EBAcrossPak series, which are aimed at exploring the myriad of students, families, teachers, educators and schools that have been affected by AKU-EB's mission to bring accessible, quality education to Pakistan. The previous video in the #EBAcrossPak series can be found here: In addition, our first video about the Middle School Programme can be found here: #AKUEBMSP #EBAcrossPak #SocialImpact
